Do you believe that they all made a list of 100 people they knew, contacted them all and their business just went to the next level? If you think this is factual, then I have an awakening for you.
What I’m about to share with you will be brief, but informative. There is a total of 100% of people in this world. I hope you agree with me because this is a fact. Now let’s look at a breakdown of “people”. Once you understand this breakdown, surviving in this industry will not be that hard for you. If you are currently contacting your warm market list or have been through it already you have heard your fair share of the word “NO”. “No, I’m not interested in making extra money.” “No, I don’t want to start or own a business.” “No, I really don’t have time to put anything else on my plate.” “No. No. No”. Why are you hearing so many people that love and respect you tell you “not right now”?
The reason is because thats the nature of people. Simply put, it's our make up. People have heard the word “No” 8 times out of 10 since birth. This is also a fact. Because of this, 80% of the people you talk to about anything, will be negative. What a startling revelation I know. 10% of the people you talk to are “About To” people. These people are always "about to do this" or "about to do that", but never really get around to doing anything but working at their job and living the average life. They have great intentions, but they are always about to. “I’m about to go into real estate, I’m just waiting for the market to get better.” Sound familiar? Now 7% of the people you talk to are actually looking for a better way of life, they are simply waiting for the opportunity to present itself, and when it is presented they will perform as long as they have someone training and guiding them towards their success. Lastly, there is the remaining 3% of people that once presented with an opportunity to enhance their life, will grab the bull by the horns and run with it because they are already successful in their present endeavors.
What I'd like to ask you is what group of people are you surrounded by? It seems only 10% of the population is prepared to take advantage of our wonderful and most lucrative industry. Are you spending your time talking to the remaining 90%? Look at your list that you’re contacting. What category do they fall in? If they don’t fall in the 10% category how can you survive in this industry? Your upline may tell you to contact everyone on your list and ask them who they know that’s interested (even if they say “No” to you). Are you ready to hear no twice that quickly? That doesn’t sound to promising. What about invited them to the hotel meetings or inviting them by your home for an in-home meeting? How many invites will you send to the same no-show? How many in-home presentations do you host to get 3-5 business associates and have them repeat what you just did?
Not to discourage anyone from building their business within this industry. On the contrary. I want everyone in this industry talking to the 10% on a daily basis and introducing them to your opportunity multiple times, everyday, and at different locations throughout the world because the 10% understand the internet and are looking every day for ways to improve their situations.
