You are the only person that is struggling under the load of enormous debts and finding it difficult to make the payments on a regular basis. Well you are the only one reading these words right this minute that is in dire financial trouble but you are in good company because over 90% of American families do battle with the demon debt on a regular basis. I sometimes refer to it as the great American sport and say that it should be represented in the Olympic Games and the winner would get all their debts paid out in full.

But how did it get this way? Certainly we are graduating college students now that are drowning in debt and unless they quickly get a job, on completion of their studies, and start repaying these debts the interest will quickly kill them metaphorically speaking. And to cap it all off this is the time that most of them have found the perfect partner and are looking to get married and buy a house.

The secret is in the interest rates and as you come from college you are probably paying in the vicinity of 17% on your student loans. Money is available a lot cheaper than that and if you are to reduce this debt and be able to move on in your family life then you must take advantage of a low interest loan. Secure yourself a job and then apply to your local bank for a personal loan - pay out all the other high interest debts and then put every cent you can find in the next two or three years into reducing this new loan.

Don't be tempted to apply for further credit cards just concentrate on eliminating your debts and you will quickly have the situation under control. Within two years you will have an excellent credit rating and be able to marry and purchase a house at a favorable interest rate. Start the ball rolling today and do some research on the internet to see where you could get a low interest loan (less than 5% would be nice) and what monthly payments would be expected. The repayments will be a lot lower that what you are paying now and you will be able to pay more thus reducing the loan and the interest very quickly. It doesn't cost you any money to look, so why are you still reading this.
