Most of the time in network marketing we are laser focused on the action of getting people into our business opportunity. You call leads or email them or get them in whatever way your selected marketing model requires and you press for all of them to join your mlm business and when they don't enroll you trash them.
Well, there was a point in my history where I was purchasing $5 Television telephone verified leads and shelling out up to five hundred dollars a month on them to try to develop my mlm business. I called these folks and they didn't join the opportunity and I trashed the leads until . . . (and this is something that I have never shared with anyone)....I thought what a waste, I'm spending lots of of cash and getting no ROI, there's got to be something I can do to change this.
I started to consider ways that I could possibly generate income from these lifeless mlm leads and at least recoup a small part of some of my capital investment. I considered what I could do to improve my situation for about a weeks time before it dawned on me. I realized that simply because these folks were not interested in my mlm business it did not necessarily mean that they still were not interested in signing up for a mlm business.
So I imagined . . .
How I can I supply these lifeless leads extra possibilities in a way that I could at least recoup a little money? Then the Ah Ha moment came! Pay Per Lead Affiliate Programs for network marketing business opportunities!
That is where the network marketing leads came from in the 1st place, why not ship them back where they came from and make a little cash on the way out? There are affiliate programs on the market that will pay you a commission NOT on an actual purchase, but on merely having leads complete a basic form about a mlm business opportunity. I found a nice cost-per-acquisition affiliate program in the business opportunity arena to join and I registered.
I started experimenting with after phoning leads giving them my affiliate link for my pay per lead affiliate program and telling the leads to take a look at other alternatives. Ultimately I shifted to doing this from the beginning. It was an excellent guise. I'd personally call and state I was a home network marketing business consultant and that I was intending to be talking over some different business opportunities with them. I'd then offer them the affiliate link and explain to them to have a look at the other choices and then arranged an appointment to talk about their options.
People loved it because I wasn't forcing them in one direction and so the sales stress was eliminated and these mlm leads were much more open to talking with me on the follow-up about their options. Because of this before I moved to a totally online marketing and advertising method I was earning back $3.25 on about 50% of the leads that I reached by the basic action of having them fill out the form and created a situation where I was an advisor and NOT a sales person.
The moral of the story is there's usually a means to enhance your situation if you simply take a step back and evaluate it objectively. If you're still calling network marketing leads give it a shot, if you're not then take the greater moral home and integrate it into your mlm business. (Don't believe this is not something I am testing on the internet, and if you are resourceful you will see opportunities to do the exact same online in your mlm business.) There's always more opportunity out there than you initially think.
