There are many ways I think money does buy happiness. Money increases quality of life which in turn buys happiness. This is only true if one lives within his means, lives a modest life style and pursues happiness the right way. I think most people believe happiness is bought in a store.
People overestimate how much pleasure they’ll get when they buy something luxurious. We really don’t need all these extravagant luxuries around us. Are they necessities to life? Are they just things to show your vanity? Or are they just trying to keep up with the Jones’s?
There are 4 classes of people; welfare, working, middle, and upper class.
The welfare classes are not working or can’t find work; their bare minimal needs might be met. Do you think there is any quality of life for that family? Yes there is some food on the table and they may all live in a small apartment. What about the quantity and quality of those conditions? What about health care? Is there any? Probably not. The working class are working so hard, sometimes 2 and 3 jobs struggling just to get by. The whole time hoping that some day they could make enough to enjoy some of the good things life has to offer i.e. Time with family and friends, traveling, health care, quality food and shelter. So yes I believe money can buy happiness if managed the right way.
All things considered, does it make good sense for people in society to pursue monetary income or wealth? I believe it makes sense for people to pursue monetary income first; the wealth will come on the later.
Happiness is the most desirable objective for everyone in life. There are many ways leading to happiness which can only be built by wise people who know exactly real value of happiness. If someone think that money can bring happiness, they are wrong. Money has never been a right way to reach “happy destination”. It can buy a house but not a home, a person but not his/her love, a frivolous title but not real respect, a smile but not a soul… An unknown artist once said:“There is no way money could replace the happiness that comes from painting a picture for me”. We all share the same idea with him, happiness definitely won’t be bought by that way.
However, we should’t underestimate value of money. Most of us have at least tasted the feeling of happiness thanks to money. We are presented a bouquet on are birthday, and of course we are happy of being cared. The person who gives u the bouquet obviously has to use his (her) money to buy it.We receive gifts from friends and family on our birthday and of course we are happy of being cared. In this particular case, they use their own money to bring us happiness. Yes, it is said “Money will buy everything but real happiness. Money won't buy happiness, but it will go a long way in helping you to get happiness”. Money itself cannot bring joy or happiness, however, in some particular situations, it can do the opposite things... Take a look at several examples : it help people pay off debt, have a more beautiful house.
