I experienced a funny situation a few days ago; I was talking to a business associate of mine in my down-line. He mentioned that he was going to add a new addition to his team. What peaked my attention was that he really focused on his reps physical attributes, and he said she was "extremely hot".
Not, she had a good head on her shoulders or her ability to market was great. I was surprised by this but I've heard of it countless times amongst males reps in the past. The idea is if you're a good looking female, you can acquire more team members based on your sexual appeal, more specifically when it's a female to male process.
Now we all know that sex sells, but when it involves getting into business does it make that big of a difference in deciding on if you should change your life dramatically?
It's a possibility;after taking a closer look at a man's brain, a number of tests result in men's testosterone levels increasing when being around an attractive woman, ultimately leading to a bigger risk taker. It's as if a male wants to show that he can provide or display a sexual attractiveness through the risk taking action. When a man is in a restaurant being served by a beautiful woman;he will give a bigger gratuity. When guys are at bars or clubs they're far more likely to fight or spend a lot of money on drinks that go no where because they likely hood of sex is that much higher.
Thinking again about a man being persuaded to join a business by a gorgeous woman, it definately won't hurt her odds 99% of the time. It would really help; ideas turn into amazing ideas when you happen to think the woman across from you reminds you of your favourite actress.
Aside from being great looking, either if you're a male or female; I still firmly believe that a strong character can outweigh all those things and that looks and sexual appeal can only take you so far. There are very talented people in this world who have extreme talents and minimal looks. Susan Boyle, Stevie Wonder, Oprah Winfrey are some examples of high calibre talents without having the best physical attributes.
