How fresh? About 1 new post every 3 days. That is the recommended frequency of new content on your blog. You see this mentioned almost in all popular blogs but strangely only a handful of people do post so often every week. But if you are full time blogger like me, the ideal frequency of number of post is actually one post per day.

2. Maximize Your Blog Reader’s Options To Subscribe To You
There are only three ways you can capture a reader’s subscription, below are the three ways
- Get user to subscribe to your feed like mine here
- Get user’s first name and email address by giving a free gift, as you can see on the right of this post.
- Get user to bookmark your post, by making them press ctrl + d on their keyboard.
You would want to capture as much options available to your readers when they read your post at the end of your post. Ask for blog subscriptions and is a key to building a loyal base of readers on your blog. It took me a really long time to build a pool or loyal readers but with constant marketing you will reach there no time soon.
I did not have much luck with RSS yet as I just started collecting it so I am still building on that. But my free book giveaway has been downloaded by almost 500 over people from this blog since I launched it. in fact, by just adding a picture to my free gift I got an increase of opt-in everyday on my blog. I also noticed other then traffic coming from those two sources, I have a lots of traffic also from users who bookmark my blog post. Here’s a secret tip I used that will surely get many people to bookmark your post.
Ensure that you have a button they can click to bookmark your post and also post a long video about 20 minutes on your blog post. You will realized when people view your video they chances they will bookmark it and they will come back because they want to continue to view the movie.
3. Give All That You Have
Because every individual have their own individual unique skills, you would want to share all your knowledge and experience you have in a niche you are specialized in. Do make sure you focus only on one niche and try not to talk too much on other topics when you are posting on your blog.
The best advice I can give to anyone posting on blogs is just be honest in your articles and your readers will come back for more content as they read your content.

Because blogs have advance so much today, you should also have a blend of both words and videos on your blog. Our job as bloggers is not only to provide quality content for our readers but also enlighten them when need to so that your blog will not feel like a death blog.
