India, one of the biggest countries in Asia is a beautiful and an apt mixture of different cultures, climates; geographical differences etc. the huge country is a display of scenic beauty starting from the Himalayan ranges to the tip of the peninsula in south India. And a tourist who would like to travel the best places in this magnificent country cannot miss the beautiful western coastline that caters the best of the beaches and scenic beauty that can take the breath away. Kerala, the “God’s own country” is situated on this western coastline. This small state is well known and famous all over the modern world for its beaches, culture, festivals and Ayurvedic cures. This beautiful state is selected by the National Geographic Traveler as one of the 50 destinations of a lifetime and one of the thirteen paradises in the world. With several beaches that attract tourists from all over the world, Kerala maintains the serenity in the beauty as almost as a religious affair. And out of all these beaches the Kovalam beach stands out with and astounding natural beauty that draws the foreigners from all over the world.
The Kovalam beach is called the best in India by most of the tourists. As a tourist I found the beauty in Kovalam accelerating and spiritual. The accommodation in Kovalam was not a huge problem at the peak season as I am a member of Country Club India, the club that has its establishments all over India and abroad. This beautiful club was located just few yards from the beach and went by the name Country Club Treasure Cove. My basic plan in coming to Kovalam was to pamper myself to the core as my mind and body was stressed to the limit from the daily workload and responsibilities of the daily city life. The beach offered the best of sports and my day was totally occupied in experiencing water skiing and learning to surf on the waves. The evenings were picturesque from the restaurant in the treasure cove restaurant. My experience with the Ayurvedic spa facilities in the club was a memorable one as my body was pampered to the core. I would really appreciate the staff and the management of the club as they made it a point to meet all my needs.
My stay in Kovalam was a holiday that satiated my hunger for relaxation and fresh natural experience.
