Allah stated in Qur’an that: “I (Allah) listens to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness and gives them an increase of His Bounty (42:26). That is why non-Muslims who wish and work for material success, reputation and other worldly needs in this world achieve success in this momentary life. They obtain Allah’s reward for any virtuous deed or honest act done in this world. If they want happiness in this present world and work for it, Allah awards them their needs. Though, their prizes will only be momentary because they do not meet up the subsequent conditions by which good deeds are rewarded both in this present life and in the next life
Belief In Oneness Of Allah:
As Muslim we must have the strong faith on Allah Almighty that he is alone and there is no one else to whim we worship. Allah Stated in glorious Quran as: “Say (O Muhammad): “I am but a man like yourselves, (but) the motivation has come to me, that your God is One God: whoever waits for to meet His Rabb, let him work honesty, and in the worship of his Rabb, acknowledge no one as associate.” (18:110)
Sincerity (Ikhlaas) to Allah:
“Call then upon Allah with honest loyalty to Him even though the Unbelievers may despise it” (40:14). It means doing good deeds purely for the sake or pleasure of Allah. Here we will quote a Hadith which shows the clear message of Allah. “The return of deeds depends upon the objectives and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. Thus he whose immigration was for Allah and His Messenger, his relocation had been for Allah and His Messenger, and he whose immigration was to attain some worldly benefit or take some woman in marriage, his migration had been for that for which he migrated.” (Bukhari 1/1 and Muslim 3/ 4692).
Deeds Must Be In Harmony Of Qur’an & Sunnah:
We have to avoid Bid’ah (innovation in religion) by holding Quran and Sunnah for the perfect religion Islam. As Allah stated: “O you who consider! Obey Allah and follow the Messenger (Muhammad) and leave not hopeless your deeds.” (47:33). The three state of affairs by which good deeds are satisfied in Islam entail that only those who honestly accept and carry out Islam will have their rewards with Allah in the Hereafter.
Those who still following o ways other than Islam will have dreadful punishments on the Day of Judgment. The main bad deeds are Shirk (polytheism), Nifaq ((hypocrisy), Bid‘ah (innovation in religion) and Kufr (disbelief or rejection of truth). For our eternal success we should pray to Almighty Allah and should follow the Sunnah of Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and should have the fear of hell fire that will be unbearable. As Muslims we should pay thanks to our lord (Allah) who gift us the true guidance of Islam through Qur’an and Sunnah. Keep in mind that the angels are sitting on the right and left shoulder who are writing each and every step or act of us that we perform in this temporary life. May Allah have mercy upon all of us? Amen
