In the old days the school system was much stricter compared today. Some say that this severity was the cause of student’s action that they feel their freedoms are taken away from them. The reality is that this is not the case, but there is a strong possibility that students will act such today and this can even be tough for teachers if there is not some kind of order and classroom management that is inculcated and followed.

Today, students are bombarded with information alongside with a fast lifestyle and with the digital age upon us making the information age era so overwhelming. Information overload is upon us hence it is safe to assume that many students are both excited and overwhelmed as they may be struggling with what is expected of them. Any setting where you put a bunch of Generation X and Y students in a classroom, there is a potential for chaos, but there are ways to easily manage your classroom in a way that students will do and perform in accordance to classroom policies and even more in order.

One of the many mistakes educators did is the fact they are not trying to communicate with their students on one point. As students who are overwhelmed, they may need advice and at least feel that they are comforted especially with most teenagers today. By connecting to your students one by one, during their years with them can develop relationships which create more efficient ways to approach different situations.

In these films such as "Dangerous Minds" and "Coach Carter" has taught us almost anything, especially the there is no such thing as a bad student, but only one who may need more individualized attention to their needs and their particular concerns. It is not that students do not want to learn and grow, but not all students are fit into the same model as individual since each person has their needs and individualistic concern. When a student needs are ignored and they are exceeded, it is probable they become coarse, discouraged, or refuse to do the job, whatever the consequences may be.

Approaching each student as an individual and also as part of a group which you recognize is in fact powerful. This will give them a feeling as a person and as a piece of the synergy. Having rules is great and having a proper classroom management is even better. If you are currently a teacher, not to communicate to your students, you'll have a much harder time getting them to listen and also cooperate.
