This is if you come form a place of "need" into a business venture you will not have the type of mindset needed to create success in a business.

If you sponsor these types of prospects to your opportunity they most likely won't have the marketing skills necessary to market the business and they will have to learn by taking marketing courses so that whatever marketing they use will be effective. If the people you sponsor possess a "need" mindset instead of a "desire" mindset they will most likely not last long enough to create any kind of progress or success let alone last through the learning curve in network marketing.

3. Looking to "Get Rich Quick"
Business opportunity leads have a tendency to be looking for a lottery ticket on the internet in other words looking to "get rich quick" and not a business. They are want to start a business with zero investment and start up costs that will make them rich overnight. You probably realized a while back that it takes a lot of effort to create a successful business, investing both time and money to invest in order to create success.

You create success by committing on a daily basis to taking action marketing, prospecting and being able to invest in your self by investing in whatever training you may need. These are the people that might join your opportunity but go into witness protection program within a month of joining your team.

What types of leads should you be looking for?

That's a tricky question, you shouldn't be looking for leads. Your goal is to attract leads to you through marketing, Absolutely the best leads are those who already know what it takes to be in this industry, other network marketers, but if you want these type of leads you have to have something they want or need. To attract these leads you need to create videos, write interesting blogs and article so that you can start branding yourself as a leader in the industry. Start providing value in topics like marketing, free lead generation, sponsoring do's and don'ts.

This way marketers who are struggling in creating success in their businesses will start seeing you as a leader, someone who can help them with whatever they need help with and will become your leads.
