2007's Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons

CurlytoStraight.com announces the very best 2007 hair straighteners.

The standards used to decide this "Best Of" list are; customer reviews, product features, reliability and customer support. This review will not go over each of the classes of hair straighteners or flat irons available. Just higher quality products were reviewed and the price was not taken into account.

The following reviews are only based on product quality, the feed back of consumers and features. The survey doesn't take price into consideration.

1) The FHI Runway Series - This brand of straightener is hands down the finest on the market. These hair straighteners offer each and every cutting edge feature; revolutionary heating plates, adjustable heat, lightening fast heat time, damp-or-dry styling, 450F max temp and the most dependable plate heating of any product out there. Runway models also have the best consumer feed back of each the products reviewed. If you want the most effective and best straightener available this is most certainly it, and it will cost you. These Irons usually about $400.

Are the Runway models really worth the money? Absolutely, if you can afford it.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As a forerunner in the improvement of ceramic plating and tourmaline integration, FHI's Platform series provides consumers with a superior straightener at a less expensive price. Available in several sizes, the FHI Platform series offers ultra flash heat times, adjustable temperature, PTFC ceramic heat plates and 450F max heat. While these items are less pricey than the Runway models, it's important to note that they're still pricey at around $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The popular pink straightener provides consumers the very best dependability and performance of any hair straightener in the Farouk CHI product line. Temperature control, flash heat times, and ceramic plates combined with an ergonomically designed handle make the CHI hair straighteners the perfect choice for people that want to get the most out of their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - This straightener actually has a rank above the CHI Pink series as far as product features are concerned, but it fell to the fourth spot because consumers have had difficulty with warranty returns. Other than that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry provides a sturdy ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The Turbo series takes fifth place in our flat iron review. This straightener line is used by more hair styling professionals than any of the other models. And while its maximum temperature and flash heating do not match the CHI Pink, this is the perfect choice for anyone who wants premium performance and reliability.

Honorable Mention

While our 2007 straightener review features the cream of the crop, there are many other quality, professionally designed straighteners and flat irons available today. The following are a few:

GHD Hair Straighteners - An excellent device with a polished design that incorporates numerous cutting edge features makes the GHD hair straightener an attractive option.

HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI hair straighteners have two excellent offerings at affordable prices; the Convertible and the Nu Stik.FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series offers best in Class products for the conventional models. The FHI flat iron is a wonderful product with many of the technologies of the new millennium.

*One of the more popular models available, the sedu hair straighteners, wasn't reviewed because of what seems to be misleading sales practices and the non-competitive, exclusive internet distribution agreement.
