With all the media exposure and wide array of Acai berry appreciations from left to right, it will be very difficult for me to compare pepper’s weight loss benefits against the milestone acai berry has already achieved. However, upon reading tons and tons of Acai berry articles I have learned some controversial facts about it that led me to the conclusion that Pepper diet is much preferable and ideal.
Let us first learn of Acai berry, acai berry is describe as super food because of its numerous health benefits, it is abundant in the Amazon river in Brazil, it has been discovered by some scientist somewhere within this millennium however the natives claim that they have been using it for years. It is small and purple in colors. The fruit has said to be rich in Omega fatty acids, antioxidant and fiber.
On the other hand, our ancestors in our daily cuisine have used peppers for centuries; it is widely popularized by the Great Explorer in the name of Christopher Columbus. We overlooked pepper as an ingredient to add some spice to our meal; sometimes peppers are taken for granted because of its abundance in our environment. However, recent studies have shown tons and tons of health benefits that we can obtain from having the compound in peppers present in our daily meal.
If we are going to compare acai berry and pepper health benefits the scale is almost similar. Both are rich in various Vitamins, Antioxidants, fibers etc. and both can decrease the risk of cancer. However, the only thing that made me choose pepper over acai berry is its abundance in our environment; pepper is always available fresh, never loses its flavor and can easily blend with our daily cuisine unlike with acai berry that only lasts its newness after 24 hours of harvesting it from the acai palm tree. Imagine the distance of Brazil to America; it is actually a question of freshness, availability and affordability.
I really do not take this against acai berry fanatics (that is if you live near the Amazon River) because acai berry is really jam packed with nutritional properties but this is just my opinion, peppers can also bring similar health benefits besides, it is cheap, always fresh and it adds some kick and spice to our appetite thus promoting weight loss!
