The first component that you will need when creating your page is a photo of yourself. I know this sounds simple, but you would be surprised by how many people have no picture on their page at all. When you are creating your brand, you should keep in mind the image you are presenting to those that come across your page. Not that you need a picture with a suit or evening dress, you will want a clean polished picture that shows you are a professional. This is your initial contact with people when they come to your page, even for those that haven't seen you in years. Your initial picture recreates a first impression of you.
The second component of creating your page is understanding what makes you special. Your gift is totally different than anyone else in the world. This can be an array of pictures from places that you have traveled, various activities you have participated in, your family photos. This allows people to see different sides of you and find things that help them relate to you before you ever make contact. You want to display a lifestyle that people want to be interested in. Remember that social media is a stream that people use to relate, not promote business opportunities.
The third component you should share with others is your Bio. Share with people who you are and the number one thing that led you into the home-based business industry. This is where you tell your story. Never ever hide the fact that you are an internet marketer. This is something to be extremely excited about because this is where you allow people to know that you have a real desire in helping them succeed. You can introduce your blog here by telling people you are the author, founder or creator of your website.com. Tell people the reason you started in internet network marketing and explain the turning point. This is important to traditional network marketers. What this does is establishes a presence that makes people want to be a part of you.
Component number four talks about the solution to the reader's problem. You don't focus on the company you or they are with. Don't talk about comp plans. Talk about the people within the internet marketing industry and what types of success they are having. Explain how network marketing is a personal development business program with a comp plan connected to it if you must mention comp plans.
The fifth component should explain the end result. What a person should expect from you and what is expected of them for partaking on the journey with you. Share the mentoring program, the coaching that is available to them and eventually by them. The bottom line is being positioned to help them and others succeed in their network marketing business, regardless of the company.
The sixth and final component is the "Call to Action". This is where you implement your signature line. You can simply end your "My Story Marketing" campaign with a line such as "If you've desired to live your dreams or wondered about network marketing, then visit my site.com."
