1. What is the placement process for dental implants?
Before placing the actual implants in, an anchor is placed in the gums to hold the new artificial teeth. This is a surgical operation that will take several hours, but it will ensure that your implants will stay in place. You must allow several weeks for the bone to grow around the anchor and hold it in place. Once the gums have healed, the artificial teeth are made and placed in to the anchors.
